A credit is how ReelBolt measures the work it does for you on its own capacity. A run spends credits when ReelBolt supplies the AI or does the rendering. Connect your own AI provider account and the AI part costs no credits, because you pay that provider directly. A run is priced before it starts, so you can see what it will use.

What happens when I run out of credits?

The run is refused before it starts rather than failing halfway through, and you are told what it needed and what you have left. You can buy extra credits in packs from your workspace billing page at any time. Buying is always something you do deliberately — nothing tops up automatically, and extra credits are available on the paid self-serve plans.

Can I cancel, and what if a run fails?

You can cancel whenever you like. Billing changes and cancellation are handled by the payment portal your workspace opens from its billing settings, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If a run fails because of a problem on our side, the credits it used are put back automatically. For anything else, contact us and we will sort it out.

Can I use my own AI account, and does that cost credits?

Yes, from the Creator plan up. Connect your own AI provider account and you choose which models do the work — including models you host yourself. That usage costs you no ReelBolt credits, because you pay that provider directly. The free Trial runs on ReelBolt’s own capacity.

Can I render on my own computer?

Not yet. The ReelBolt runner — the desktop app that would render on a computer you own, using no credits because the work happens on your own hardware — is still being built and has not been released, so there is nothing to download. Every run today is rendered on ReelBolt’s capacity.

Is my footage used to train AI models?

No. We do not train models on your content, and we do not sell it. When ReelBolt uses its own AI capacity, only what a job needs is sent to the model provider for that job. If your material should never leave infrastructure you control, connect your own AI provider account and run the platform yourself.

Where is my data kept, and for how long?

Your projects, source footage and finished videos are stored for the retention window of your plan, and you can delete a project or its files whenever you want to. On Team the work belongs to the workspace rather than to one person, so it does not leave with a member who moves on.

Do you offer team billing?

Yes. Team is billed per seat, with the minimum number of seats shown on its plan card, and every seat adds its monthly credits to a pool the whole workspace shares. The plan, the seats and the payment method belong to the workspace rather than to an individual member, and access is controlled by roles.

How credits work

Every plan includes credits, and nothing else on the site is billed by surprise. You are never charged for work ReelBolt did not do, and no plan auto-upgrades itself.
